entonces

Well, no apologies necessary. I was just as busy as can be and now getting a chance to breathe. So let me jump right on in and give an update on what's been happening in Camps world.

First it was and still is World Cup fever. This is football terrority and everything comes to a standstill when football is playing. The other day I wondered into a store during a match and had tuh beg de fella tuh tek 2 mins and service me. Anyhow 2 more games and it's all over. So I was red white and black for the Soca Warriors, then they got the boot, I went for England, them too got sent home and then de ultimate defeat of all defeats was when host team Germany got taken down by 2 goals in the very last two minutes of the game... What agony. Last Saturday, I was on France side to beat Brazil, not that I'm a big fan of France, but because too many commentators was biased against Brazil and felt that they couldn't be beaten. Let's not forget the good showing of Ghana, first time into the World Cup and then to make it to the second round..too bad they had to face such a power team as Brazil. Now I have t choose between Italy and France...ahhh, I'm just not sure who to side with...Maybe I'll go for France.

Apart from World Cup, I've been also doing some travelling along with a lot of farewell lunches and functions. Lots of people have been granted parole from Arepaland this summer, so we are all jumping for joy. A good friend is off to Iran, another one to Cuba, One has left to Brazil and one to Nigeria and yet another one is on her way to Qatar.... so many international places to choose from for our next vacation spot.

So now it's all about cleaning, and packing...getting in all the medical appts and just getting things in order for the big move. So just a little update of what's happening.

having some issues wiht the photo loader....so no pics today

The World Cup has made me a soccer fan. In particular the team from Ghana. I watched one game they played and thought they were the L.A. Lakers. They were running circles around their opponent and their passing was on point. Even though they lost in the round of 16, they put up a good fight.
