the year running by fast enough. Just the other night we were singing Happy New Years and now de year already 5 days old and I turned a year older. Actually I glad it's only a year, cause I was giving muhself two yrs til de hubby put me in check. Yuh see alheizmers setting in already. Whey de time going aready. Wha yuh can't even blink yuh eye nowadays. Boy ah tell yuh, oh to be young again.
Well for me, no New Years resolutions. Actually I stopped making them long time ago, cause nubodie never keep them, so why bother. I had some aspirations fuh de year, but them is aspirations that continued from last year. If I have to make one set a resolutions, is that me and the hubby get outta dodge before the middle ah de year...Lordee it's time fi we to go. But for the most part no resolutions, just hoping to stay strong to my faith, be kinder to people, help a fellow man in need and work on improving the financial situation a bit more. Also working on getting healthier.
But something this year has taken my interest. the year just start and allyuh notice the amount of tragedies we have already. Ice rink roof collapse in Germany. 14 dead. Miners trapped, 12 dead and don't talk about the controversy surrounding that. Iraq continues on the path of destruction. A suicide bomber strikes and 35 dead. Pakistan and the terrible winter conditions and something like 10 dead. and to top it off mud slides in Indonesia and over 250 dead. Gosh, how much more can that island nation take in the wake of natural diasters. Although the mudslide isn't natual diaster as much as it's a result from illegal logging.
Now if things continue like this, what we gonna say about this year. These things really make you think and with all these occurances, we really need to seek higher spiritual belongings. Things looking real bleek. But I didn't come to depress you today, just to say hey but looka all that gine on doh.
CANTV update----No Update....dem nuh even look pun we yet tuh ask wha gine on...Hopeless set ah people dem wha Cable & Wireless looking like angles now hearing my CANTV worries. So I still hey beggin scotch in ah internet café until CANTV figures out wha dem doing or suppose tuh be doing.
So peeps, ah just checking, soory ah can't get to read and post as much as I usually would, but I been reading and trying to catch up. Until next visit. Stay cool, calm, collective and positive with yuh New Years Dreams and resolutions.

last days they say, tragadies and calamaties, ya aint see pat robertson say that sharon get sick cause he was going against god will ta appease the UN and the US and split up the holy land. he might got something to say bout indonesia too.
Yep the year has started with a bang and a trail of traggedy. Even here in Jamaica the crimrate is ever increasing, we have more murders that the amounnt of days that have passed in the new year. I am not shocked, just bracing myself as things are just getting worst. Just got to keep strong and pray.
Hope the year improves. Can't tek another like last year at all. The spirit gets weary
Lets raise our glasses to an improved 2006.

Happy New Year to you. Wow - I guess I just have stopped looking at the news altogether. I had no idea SO many of those things were going on. Great! Oh to be 12 and oblivious again!
